The first New Chelsea Kit produced by Nike is unfortunately one of the fadest we've seen so far. Based on the decried Vapor template, it is all blue, with just the logos of the club and the sponsor as the only fantasy.
The first information we received about the 2017/2019 Chelsea home Nike jersey indicates that this will change, to the delight of the Blues fans. The 2017/2019 Chelsea jersey is due out just at the end of the current season.
Although the 18/19 will be mostly blue (Rush Blue, or Blue Adrenaline), there will be some noticeable changes made by the Swoosh for its second season at Stamford Bridge. For starters, the 18/19 Nike jersey will be based on the new generation of the Vapor template. That means he will always have raglan sleeves. Other than that, it's still too early to draw definitive conclusions about the next Nike template.
The news received allows us to know that the shirt of Chelsea 2018/2019 will have a touch of red to accompany the blue and the white (although we can confirm only that for the socks, which can be in the same style of what has been made for the Manchester City outfit this season). The use of red on the shirt and shorts Chelsea home 2018/2019 is not yet certain.
With what's gearing up for the Nike 2018 World Cup Jerseys, we can expect the new jerseys for clubs, including the 2018/2019 Home Chelsea jersey, to have more unique and personalized designs, which the brand will realize with printed and knitted graphic patterns. If this is the case, we do not have details yet for the Chelsea jersey.
The shorts and socks of Chelsea 2018/2019 homewear will be blue and white respectively, with a touch of red for the latter, as mentioned above.
For the moment, the launch of the home shirt 2018/2019 Chelsea is scheduled for the month of May 2018. It could come out before the end of the current season, as is rather traditional at Adidas, but it is still too early to confirm it. The last match of the 2017/2018 Premier League season will be on May 13, 2018.
